Språkstien is an online learning tool in preparatory reading and writing education for grades 1 and 2 with language-stimulating tasks. The tasks help students see the connection between sound and letter.

The language path is divided into the following themes:
• rhyming words
• sentences
• syllables
• compound words
• short and long words
• letter sounds
The tasks are at four levels
• Star - students combine sound and image (easiest)
• Sun - students combine sound, image and text
• Moon - students combine sound, image and text
• Planet - students combine sound and text (most challenging)
The simple tasks stimulate the students' ability to distinguish sounds . Gradually, the students write words and sentences. The language path is suitable for both students who have cracked the reading code and those who have not.
