Bilingual mathematics in Norwegian, Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, Somali and Arabic
Minority language students can now learn mathematics with support in their own mother tongue! Mathematics 8-10 bilingual allows students to switch between Norwegian and five additional languages in one and the same learning medium. This way, students learn mathematics, Norwegian words and subject concepts.
The development is supported by the Norwegian Directorate of Education.

Mathematics 8-10 bilingual is adapted with translation into five languages; Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, Somali and Arabic.
Through language adaptation, Norwegian and minority language students can more easily learn, collaborate, explore and solve problems together.
This strengthens language learning and makes inclusion easier.
Students can easily switch between Norwegian and their native language in one and the same learning tool by clicking on the flag that represents the desired language. Along the way, students can switch between the languages and learn mathematics, subject concepts and Norwegian.
All text is translated by native translators, films are translated and read in with AI.
Mathematics 8-10 is a digital textbook that emphasizes wonder, understanding and application. Through several hundred animations, films, self-correcting tasks and guiding feedback, demanding subject matter is presented in an easy-to-understand way. The teaching material is structured according to core elements and competence objectives and focuses on in-depth learning.
